Early season super alpha hops are complimented by amarillo and galaxy hops to pronounce fresh citrus notes.
Fresh rain water was purified to exacting mineral levels to achieve ideal bitterness and enhance flavour.
Late season pilsner, munich & crystal malted barley with a touch of wheat malt deliver freshness.
Our own top-secret top-fermenting yeast was added to the mash with a touch more to the bottle to ensure fresh longevity’
What the label really means: I really appreciate the slogan ‘Great beer is not only determined on where its ingredients come from, but how you enjoy it’. So true! Drink this in a bad mood and you won’t enjoy it. Drink it with positive thoughts and it will go down a blast. It makes me think of the saying ‘Eat, drink, and be merry’.
I also like the ingredient descriptions backing up your reasons to like this beer, knowing what goes in it (helped by little diagrams).

Label: The label is predominantly a dark brown colour with yellow to orange text and diagrams. It looks good but the object on the front makes me think of the malt shovel on the Malt Shovel Brewery label and feel it’s a little cliched. It’s a classy, well designed label, sure. And as much as I do appreciate the ingredient diagrams it does tend to make the label look a little busy. Not bad, but room for improvement.
I give it a label rating of 6.5 out of 10.
AROMA: A deliciously mellow flavour of faint, soft, citrus fruits. Very enticing. If this came in a male fragrance I’d be squirting it down the trousers often.
Taste: GLASS – Delicious! It’s thirst quenchingly refreshing. It’s clearly a pale ale in taste but with an incredibly soft bitterness that hits as a pleasant after taste. I am truly impressed by this brew and loving every sip.
I give it a beer from glass rating of 8.5 out of 10.
Taste: BOTTLE – Drinking this from the bottle I notice it becomes a tad more bitter and loses the all-mouth flavour burst. It’s still good, but not great.
I give it a taste from bottle rating of 7.5 out of 10.
Song of choice: Try this along side Desmond Dekker’s ‘Live and Learn (The More you Live)’
Accompanying food: Hot, spicy buffalo wings with blue cheese dipping sauce and celery.
Best season to appreciate: A Summer destined thirst-quencher.
All-nighter beer? Absolutely! Bring it on!

I buggered up my attempt to get on board with this week’s beer. I’d bought something I was convinced was the correct product, only to find that my flavours were nothing like Mase’s. On close inspection, I realised I’d bought the ‘Amber Ale’, not the ‘Pale Ale’. The label was otherwise pretty well identical. Come on Endeavour Beverages – us Coopers drinkers need different coloured labels to tell our beers apart! The amber ale was a nice drop though. Can’t wait to try the pale ale.

PLease spray some down the trousers and then update with a word from the wife.
I don’t want to do it and then find that I am attracting the wrong type of attention.
